Corbies Rest

This was the perfect bed and breakfast (B&B) to experience Inverness and the Scottish highlands. Eilidh was the best host, providing recommendations for the local area seeing to our every need. Her hospitality and the neighborhood reminded us of Outlander, but with modern touches. She was very nice and welcoming. We had a rental car and parking it was very easy. I also work remotely and the wifi was fast enough for my video calls. Overall, we highly recommend Corbies Rest for anyone visiting Inverness.

We really enjoyed the great hospitality and the cheerful nature of Eilidh. The rooms are tastefully furnished and fully equipped. The double bed is large and very comfortable. The view to the river Ness was magnificent. With a rich breakfast we were spoiled in the morning. From the first moment we did not feel like guests but friends and will always remember the days at River View Guesthouse.

I stayed for 5 days. The owner was incredibly sweet! My flight into Inverness was late and I simply messaged the owner to let her know I'd be late and she met me when I arrived in the evening. Because I stayed for a while, she refreshed my room halfway through my stay. One night I brought takeaway for dinner and she even provided me with a plate, utensils, and napkins! Just wonderful hospitality. And the location is superb - Wonderful views of River Ness and close to the islands for a nice stroll!

Lovely friendly hosts. Clean rooms, and quiet at night. Being a vegan , they did a magnificent vegan breakfast and I did hear someone say they loved their vegetarian breakfast. My husband is neither and enjoyed a full cooked breakfast so they are adaptable for all . Definitely would stay here again :-)

Eilidh is a super host. What a lovely place to rest up. Good room,really good water pressure so the oh so usual poor shower scenario really doesn't apply here. Well decorated room, brilliant,lovely location. So helpful and knowledgeable about where and when to visit. Highly recommended.would definitely stay again. Many thanks.

Eilidh is the world's most gracious host. We fell in love with her and her guesthouse. The rooms are well appointed and clean. The beds are comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious and come with enthusiastic and friendly tips for exploring the area. My luggage was missing for 4 days and she spent lots of energy and time helping and consoling me. I wholeheartedly recommend a stay at the Riverview Guest House.

We really had a good 3 nights Inverness stay with locals and owners Eilidh & Graeme...and their 2 nice kids and cute little dog. Such a nice, smiling and fun hostess was Eilidh. She is a treasure...she has printed info on good eateries and things to do. Do the forest walk along LOCH NESS for some nice time in pretty nature. *Cool hand Graeme played guitar and sang his original tunes with a lovely talented violinist at the Victorian Market one night which was a real treat for us... Be prepared for THE BEST SHOWER in Scotland ! Hand held head and great water pressure...you will be cleaner than ever in your life!!! The room was delightfully decorated and the bed & pillows were very soft & comfortable. Parking was on the street nearby a short 1 minute walk away. The walk to the CITY CENTER along the Ness Bank was great...maybe 10 minutes to the High Street...we, in our 70's, did it many times a day. Our stay at Corbies (Crows) Rest will NEVER be forgotten. And that's not something Emma & I can say about other hotel stays.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Eilidh's place and it was an outstanding experience. Eilidh was incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment we arrived! The location is perfect, situated within walking distance to the city centre, making it easy to explore all the attractions and amenities. Despite being so close to the heart of the city, the area is wonderfully peaceful and quiet, allowing for a restful night's sleep. I highly recommend Eilidh's place for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay with a fantastic host.
